The aim of this experiment was to determine the most effective method of removing permanent marker. Using background research, a hypothesis that nail polish remover would be the most effective was created. To test this hypothesis, five solutions: water, olive oil, nail polish remover, whitening toothpaste and vinegar, were used to scrub 15 squares of permanent marker. The result of this experiment was that nail polish remover was the most effective method of the five solutions, which was followed by toothpaste, vinegar, olive oil and water.
